Language
This animated film has language that is filled with religious implication. Throughout the movie various characters including the dalmatians, use language that reflects religion. Throughout the film Cruella De Vil is often referred to as "devil woman" and also "that witch" by Perdita and the other dalmatians. They refer to her as "devil woman" because she is blatantly evil, wanting to buy the puppies to make coats out of them. In the film Sergeant Tibs refers to the old De Vil estate as "Hell Hall". "Hell Hall" is the abandoned estate of Cruella De Vil. According to the Colonial Hell Hall is "haunted or bewitched or some such fiddle faddle." But, this film doesn't just have evil religious implications. In the film there are also sayings like "Bless you", which Perdita says to the Colonel.
