Cruella De Vil, the antagonist of 101 Dalmatians. Her name itself represents pure evil. Her name is clearly a play on words, meaning 'cruel' and 'devil', which describe her quite accurately. By just looking at the antagonist, you can see that she is clearly evil. Cruella De Vil wears black and red. These colors together are quite sinister. In Disney, colors play a significant role in the depiction of their characters. According to tropes.wikia.com, in Disney, the color red symbolizes blood, while black symbolizes death or darkness. She also wears a white fur coat. Fur coats are important to her she lives for furs. She doesn't care what kind of animal has to die for her to get her fur coats. She has an obsession with fur coats, that lead her to steal dalmatian puppies, to feed her obsession. Cruella De Vil's skin also has a tinge of purple to it. Purple is another color which may of Disney's villains wear. Cruella De Vil is also tall, and so thin she looks like a skeleton. She also has prominent, angular facial features, and high arched eyebrows. All of these features are common in Disney's images of villains. Cruella De Vil is almost always seen smoking a cigarette in the film. This only adds to evil persona. Overall, Cruella De Vil Is clearly an evil villain in this movie. You can even tell she is evil by just having one glimpse at her.
